Thanks so much to all of you who responded to my intermittent ethernet problem in our student lab (segments periodically going down). Alot of good information was sent my way! The problems were: (1) on one segment, a cable between two nodes was too short and (2) a bad piece of cable on another segment. Special thanks to Glen Fund and Charlie Finney who suggested that my Western Digital drivers needed to be upgraded to the latest version (3.04). I have downloaded the new drivers and will be installing them asap. I really appreciate the support I receive here!! Marty Mark University of Northern Iowa
