Hello all,
Situation:
Small (<10 workstations) novell network running 286 v2.15c
Individual copies of WordPerfect on each hard disk
Problem:
When trying to send mail-merge letters to the HP IID printer
via the capture command, the first 5 or so letters get printed,
then the printer comes up with an error message that gets
translated to "bad command" . This happens consistently across
different letters.
I recommended trying capture with varying timeout values. They
say that they tried /ti=30 =45 =90 =120 all with the same
results.
Question:
Does anyone know if this is a problem with capture, with the
printer, or with the codes that word perfect is sending to
the printer? Is there anything that I should have them
check in printcon or printdef that would account for this
kind of a problem?
