Several of you have recently mentioned an updated version of NCSA telnet. I am currently using 2.2(from Clarkson) with packet drivers. Is there a new version 2.3 that also works with the BYU packet driver

Gerald, 1. NCSA Telnet v2.3: NCSA has beta testing renditions, up to beta-5 so far and most of these crash hard here. It does support Packet Drivers. Meanwhile, the Clarkson variant of v2.2 is still the NCSA Telnet of choice (but use it just from the executables because the source code is being destroyed by hacking) . 2. Graphics screen dumps to your networked printer. This works exactly like DOS, GRAPHICS.COM, but the printer has to emulate an Epson. A work around requiring a little work on your part is to obtain EPSON.* from the Kermit distribution (part of the MS Kermit package) and revise the source to speak another printer's magic words. EPSON.* is truely Public Domain. Joe D.
