Greetings... This message is addressed to those of you who have had experience with Netware running over a Token-Ring topology, and specifically to those of you who have used Source Routing Token-Ring Drivers to cross IBM Bridges. I downloaded the Source Routing files from Compuserve and I'm wondering if they are defective. When IPX.COM is loaded, it indicates that it is of source routing type. When NET4.COM is loaded, it comes back with the message "A File Server could not be found". When I run SHGEN to create new shells, everything appears to run smoothly (ie I get no error messages of any kind). Ditto, for when I regen the server and load the driver there. I have tested these drivers under both Netware 2.15 and 386, running on PS/2 Model 80's and still get the same result. All of this testing has taken place on a test lan, physically isolated from all other lans, with its own MSAU and two PS/2's attached as workstations. We are using IBM's Lan Support drivers version 1.1 and I have conducted tests with and without IBM's netbios driver (ie DXMT0MOD.SYS) loaded. Is there something I'm missing? If someone from Novell is reading this message, I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions you might offer.
