We are planning to get a site license for Versacad. Before we do so, I want to know if anyone has setup Versacad so that it is stored in Read Only directories on a server and useable by multiple workstations. We would keep work files and personal files on local hard drives. I have a copy now but cannot make it work when stored in Read Only directories. The local dealer and Versacad both say it should work but neither of them have a network to try it out. My current problem in making it work is that a file tries to be created and then removed from the network directory where Vcad is stored. My configuration file specifies all work files to be stored on the local hard drive. I am using Version 5.4, Revision 2. Tim Lange Purdue U.
