So far our NOVELL network has been working fine, with one exception that is causing a number of headaches. We run two software packages on the network that produce graphics: 1)HARVARD GRAPHICS and, 2) AUTOSKETCH. Most are familiar with Harvard; Autosketch is a computer assisted design package which we are currently using to produce floor plans in our space inventory system. The problems:1) Harvard would only produce half of the drawing. We tried to solve the problem by using capture and turning off "Autoendcap" and increasing "TImeout". This partially solved the problem in that we can now produce an entire drawing, however there are vertical lines coming out on the paper, almost like smudges. Problem 2) Autosketch will only produce one wall of a complete drawing. This one wall that is being produced would be approximately 1/10 of the entire floorplan. Again we tried making the above changes but to no avail. The frustrating thing is that the software prints perfectly if run on a stand alone PC and hardwired directly to the printer. If anyone has encountered any of these problems, I would appreciate any advice or possble solutions that you may have. THANK YOU, R.
