Greetings all, I am having a slight difficulty with PRINTDEF, and I was hoping someone out there would be able to help me. All I've seen in the manuals for the function definitions, is to enter <ESC> for escape, no where does it tell what to do with DC2, SO, and all the other non <ESC> printer codes. I tried to put <DC2> to get it reset back to 10cpi, but nothing happened, I changed it to <ESC>: for 12cpi and it worked, so I have it setup correctly, just have the wrong code for 10cpi. The printer was being used while I was testing so I didn't test using DC2, yet. Will that do it or is there (or isn't there) another way. Thanks :-) Jene =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= Jene Atkinson, Jr. | c/o Computer Services | Phone : (414) 424 - 3028 University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh | Bitnet : ATKINSON@OSHKOSHW 800 Algoma Blvd. | Internet : ATKINSON@OSHKOSH.WISC.EDU Oshkosh, Wisconsin 54901 | =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

If you ask for HELP while entering the Escape sequence, you'll get a list of the valid codes for the first 31 control characters. It's page 2 of 2.
