Mr Akbulut said last week that if moslems living in Western Thrace found themselves "under pressure and seek some place to escape ... as in the case of Bulgaria, then of course we want them to come to Turkey and share in our soup." Party of the right path leader Demirel expressed his disagreement last Saturday his disagreement with that statement. Mr Demirel told a press conference "Greek soup is different from Bulgarian and the difference lies in the Treaty of Lausanne."
