Well, my parents decided to disregard my request *not* to bi given a new shortwave radio for Christmas; so I now have a Sony ICF-7700 portable receiver. (I had planned to pick up a Sangean ATS-803A or maybe a Sony ICF-2010.) So: should I keep it, or should I have them send it back? Is it worth keeping? (Second strike against them: they also bought me a WRTH... the 1989 edition, which is of course quite out of date by now. Sigh. But it's at least partially usable, and I can get by with the frequency lists posted here.) ++Brandon -- Brandon S.
