Is this voice or code or what?

This is live NASA Select Audio, which consists of air-ground radio
between the shuttle and Houston/Cape Canaveral, and all NASA
commentators who fill in the silence between radio comms.

Therefore, it is voice, and also very readable, as WA3NAN (the Goddard
Space Center ARC) runs fairly high wattage for these broadcasts.

BTW, does anyone have a QSL address for these broadcasts?

Yeah, it's 5 WPM CW. They brought a whole stack of old QSTs to send
from.

Could this be a typo? Given these frequencies, I assume this is amateur
radio operation. 3680 kHz is outside the phone portion of the band (at
least in the U.S.). Maybe 3780?

Good catch. Yes, it's 3.860 MHz.

I have heard the shuttle on 20192 KHz SSB during the recent
missions. This is not a ham rebroadcasting.

73!

It is 3860, not 3680, and it is also heard in the mornings (ie. between
sundown and sunup). Also, it is voice, not CW.
