It sounds as if your radio has a blown Q115 (AM RF amp). This would explain
why you can receive LW/MW/FM but not SW or AM above MW. I would highly
recommend you return the receiver to Sangean or an authorized Sangean repair
shop. If you take it to just any shop you can pay too much, be without your
radio for a long time, and get an inferior repair job.
