[bitnet.swl-l] Sony 2002 Compared with Others?

I have had a Sony 2002 for about two years, my first shortwave, and it performs
quite well with its whip antennae only, here in London, Canada. It receives the
middle east, Orient, et al quite well, with BBC and Latin America very clear. I
wonder if it has been compared with other digital shortwaves, and whether one
can do better--sticking with a whip antennae? Can you name any other brands,
models that represent much improvement?
