New hardware acquired and installed
I'm pleased to report the acquisition, installation and initial
successful use last night of an inexpensive but quite utilitarian voice
actuated cassette tape recorder for recording of shortwave broadcasts when
I am otherwise engaged, out or sound asleep! For those interested
subscribers in the US, Radio Shack is having a sale on the Realistic CTR-85
-- and my twelve-hour-old unit seems (so far) to be worth the modest
investment.
