I just wanted to go on record as stating that I disagree with Mr. David Newton, but as long as I'm posting, I might as well say something about alt.hackers.d. Wouldn't the appropriate thing be to make postmaster@rutgers be the official moderator of alt.hackers.d? ObHack: well, my first RPG program was such a hack, the only comment in it was "it works, don't it?" on one particularly obscure line. Laughingly, it is still in use today (amortization calculator which did a decimal chop to find the interest rate in the same loop, properly conditionalized, that found the number of payments, payment amount, and printed the schedule at the end once the values were figured out). -- Steve Peltz Internet: peltz@cerl.uiuc.edu PLATO/NovaNET: peltz/s/cerl
