That would be me.  I suppose I could lie and set it up this way, but
in fact my policy would be to reject all non-forged postings.

If you don't like the idea of self-moderation, you should (a) bring up the
point in alt.config, where it belongs, and (b) not screw things up for
those who do like it.

No, it's not conceivable, since I know of three different ways to post
to moderated groups that don't depend on the local site.
