I would like to know of a good reference book or article that I could
read on migraine headaches. My doctor has prescribed Caffergot for me
for my migraine headaches, even after my protest. I have been
"decaffeinated" for several months now (after years of serious abuse) and
I don't want to start back on that drug.
I did try one of the pills with a recent headache and I must admit
that I thought that it might have done me some good, but I had that
nervousness and uncomfortable feeling I know so well from Caffeine (I am
told that Caffergot has 100mg. of Caffeine in it)
Yes, I know abou the headachs associated with withdraws from
caffeine and I experienced that for a week or two after I quit; My
migraine headaches are massive, half head headaches that make me feel
sick to my stomach and make me want to be in the room with the lights off
and no noise. My eyes seem sensitive to light.
I would like to think there is something out there other than
something with caffeine in it that I could use. Is there?
