UNQUOTE

[Although this company is selling communications hardware and software,
they don't see fit to leave a TDD, Modem, or voice phone number. Also,
this seems to be an internal modem only and they have chosen to limit
it's distribution in this way for some unknown reason. Thirdly, they
also chose to not give a price, so be ready for sticker shock.
Fourthly, their specs imply to me that the modem is not only hardware
dependent but is also operating-system dependent, suggesting weak modem
firmware (on-board operating software). Lastly, although they mention
Hayes, they do *NOT* say it uses the standard Hayes command set. Sounds
like a criticism, doesn't it? It's just a warning to read between the
lines. It may actually be a fine piece of hardware, although for me if
they can't stick a standard RS-232 connector and a power supply on it,
 I just can't use it.]
