Hi!

Oh boy! Horsies! I just loves to ride!

Last time I went horseback riding was a couple of years ago when I
went to a camp thingie called "The Silent Experience" for ASL
students, deaf and / or hearing impaired and interested persons (No
talking is allowed, only sign, notes, fingerspelling, et cetera).

Anyway, one of the activities they had to offer was, "Horseback
riding!" Of course, Vixen couldn't resist. And, also of course,
"they" had big problems with letting little blind Vixen ride their
horsies! But, guess what, I did anyway! It was one of the best
things I have done in the last couple of years. I was so at peace
and so relaxed and felt so good riding in the spring sunlight heat.
I want to do it again!

I myself owned a registered "Morab" (Which, for the uninitiated, is
a part Arabian part Morgan, horse.) (terrific endurance
combination!) She was registered with both the American
part-blooded horse and "Morab" registry and had quite an impressive
lineage on the Morgan side. I used to ride her on really roughed
out trails and all of that, so "their" horsie trail ride was like a
walk in the park for me even without eyeballs that work well!

One of the big things I always wanted to do was ride in the Tevis
cup endurance race! I wouldn't care at all about winning, I would
just like to make the finish so that I could get the "Belt Buckle!"

Oh well, I miss my horse and riding so very much!

Keepin' the faith!
