Index Number: 6967 In the name of Democracy !! Read, Heed, Print, Post and Pass it on America !! Being that, Americans with disabilities represent approximately one fifth of this nation's population and together with our friends, family, advocates and just plain American libertarians we represent an overwhelming majority. Let those who are ignorant of our passion for liberty know of our intent and actively seek their support as lovers of democracy, for what we demand is no more than what they take for granted as the American Public, Equal Access to Public Access. Therefore; We the people with disabilities of the United States of America in order to realize our equal and civil rights as American Citizens, do hereby state our intent as follows: 1) Through the legislative process as it is expressed in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) now before Congress. 2) (In the event the system fails us through step one) Through a national boycott of those organizations who chose to consolidate in resistance to our legislative effort. The need for confrontation, resistance and, more often than not, violence for a people to obtain liberty such as we demand has already been met in this country's revolutionary war and the outcome of that war is no more than what we seek for our people, those we advocate for. If, through cracks in democracy, tyranny and oppression have managed to survive and prosper by becoming part of the system than we shall fight back against our oppressors by using the system as they do, but were it hurts them most, in the bank account. Until then; "Equal Access to Public Access" Save the ADA. Become an army of disabled liberators . Pack Washington, "CAMP-IN", bivouac on the mall. March 10 - 16 United, we too shall share the rights of the public, the fruits of liberty. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!322!210!Laurence.Curtis Internet: Laurence.Curtis@f210.n322.z1.fidonet.org
