     Hi William, have you contacted the Government Equal Oppertunity office 
in your state. They would be one of the first places I would contact and 
have them investigate the firm. If they are in violation of Fed hiring laws 
then they will take action on your behalf and also get you the monetary 
compansation that you deserve. The can step in a lot of places that people 
don't realise that they can. If the company you worked for sold any software 
to the government they come under the fed guide lines. I have found them 
very cooperative here in helping some of the people that I come across on 
the local BBS. They just rammed through a lot of crap against Sears. Also 
their offices are now gearing up to handle all the cases if and when ADA 
passes.

a few suggestions.... 1. GO TO THE PRESS!!! 2. get together with
some local groups of handicapped individuals and organize a
protest....picket the sucker...  3. just before doing #2 do #1
again to make sure they know... 4. get an attourney to work on a
basis of if they win they get paid, if they lose, they don't (i
forget the name for that) or get one that will do it pro-bono for
the publicity value to his firm and file a lawsuit for the
difference, between what you got paid, and what your "able-bodied"
collegues got paid plus a couple million in damages...

that ought to give him the general idea...

also contact the federal and state department of labor to see if
they violated any pay regulations...
