I would like to ask every one that has had a bad experience with
ANY form of PUBLIC transportation to drop me a note detailing what
happened. On March 14th I'll be meeting with a member of the House
Transportation Committee considering the Americans with Disabilties Act.
Take a moment and write me! By the way, I'll also see that a Greyhound
executive at Greyhound Lines in Dallas is Personally Hand Delivered a
copy. If given the chance I will, in fact, give it to Fred Curry.
Curry, who says no one, really, wants hifts on buses pays himself a
$566,000 salary. That doesn't even consider stock dividends to him
and/or his Family! Complaints against AMTRACK and airlines are also
welcome.

Thanks for your help.

Although I don't have any bad experiences to report, I just wanted to
thank you for caring enough to try to better our public transportation
system. It seems that no matter where my husband and I have lived,
we find that public transportation services are constantly being cut.
I think the public officials have the attitude that any moral,
hard-working person would have a car, and that if a person doesn't
own a car, then "to heck with them."
This is a terrible attitude. I've had to turn down work because
the buses stopped too early, or they didn't go to a particular place.
If they would only understand that there are many people to whom buses
and/or trains are a necessity, not just an alternative for when the
car breaks down.
