How about teaching Braille to adults? What's the figure, only 10% or so of
the blind population can read Braille? (I know it's difficult for some people
whose blindness is due to diabetic retinopathy because of impaired tactile
perception, but there must be a large number of people who lost their sight as
adults and never learned Braille because the available programs were geared
toward kids)

Another possibility would be being an outside sales rep for one or more
manufacturers of adaptive devices or software (kind of like Les Barr with
Arkenstone, though avoid hard-sell messages in this echo!).

Of course, you could always try to become a professional public speaker,
though I've heard that the main prerequisite for that is having the same first
and last initial (like RR or JJ) <grin>.
