FW>> We went and had a good time but I'll be happy when the metro
FW>> gets out another couple of miles. My van will never see DC again.

I took my van to D.C. in 76 and someone took my van! The
"Tut" curse.

CS> Hi, Frank. I will be moving to D.C. shortly and would
CS> appreciate it if you could tell me a few things about,
CS> like how accessible is it, how/where to find help (I'm a C4-5
CS> Quad and would have to live by myself so I need to find a few

While in college I shared my home with three other guys
in exchange for their help. I paid the housing bills and they
shared the responsibility of getting me to and from my classes in
addition to persona care. We shared the food expenses.

You really need to plan this all out before you get
started. Otherwise you will be unprepared for things when they
go wrong or your attendent doesn't show up when promised.
Everything must have a backup system. Then the backup needs to
have a backup.

When you feel secure in your living arrengements then you
can concenstrate on your studies. Otherwise, your studies will
suffer and going to Georgetown won't mean anything.

CS> attendants), and that sort of stuff. I've heard that the
CS> sidewalks are all slanted. Isn't it hard pushing a wc like
 CS> that?

The whole town is so crooked that nobody even notices
those slants. If you can keep your head above the BS running
down from The Hill then you will have survived D.C.
