Index Number: 8723 RM> yes, there was a governor-general who had a stroke. It was Jules RM> Leger. He stayed in office until his term ended. After my father's third stroke, I said to dad: "Finally you are more disabled thasn me!" My Brain-damage disability is like a stroke. Both my father & I have made remarkable recoveries. But the white people, focussed only on short-term victories at the expense of losing the total war, fail to even try to listen to our "recovery" methods. RM> The governor-general was not able to RM> speak then, but his wife helped. This theme is very common in white folklore. The whites seem so very unaware that one of the most severe disabilities can be treated outside of the "happily-united" nuclear family. All the books that I have read about brain-damaged people recovering from their disabilty, have been written by happily married whites, usually with an extremely stronge religious dogma (obsession?). -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!3!712!631!Greg.See-Kee Internet: Greg.See-Kee@f631.n712.z3.fidonet.org
