I had wrist surgery two weeks ago. they used an nsaid [non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory drug] that worked post-operatively better then
morphine or demerol - it is called TORADOL - it is NON-narcotic and was
used I.M.[inter-muscular injection]. in prior surgeries, when given
demerol etc, i was in pain by the end of two hours but with this i was
out of pain a full 4 hours.
thought i would pass this on. i do have the insert with the information
about it if anyone wants further specifics.
