Hi Cherryl,
I am glad you you found my response encouraging. As a person who
has lost the gerater amount of her hearing in a short time, you can
imagine that my emotions run strong.
Look at it this way, deaf or hearing people who do not wish to
communicate out of meanness and snobbery are the "losers", not
those who truly wish to communicate with them! And, those "losers"
are the ones getting the bad part of the deal by keeping themselves
locked tight within the walls of ignoirance. The rest of us have a
much wider world with much greater potential and much greater
opportunity! Talk and sign with every one you can!!!!
I will be looking forward to what your sister has to say!
