[misc.handicap] Spinal injury and chiropractic help

Hi

I am an Australian recent paraplegic. I had my accident in
September last year were I broke my back at T6. The spinal cord was
damaged but remains intact although I have negligible feeling and
no muscle control below the injury.

I am posting this article in response to a friend who met up with a
couple American Chiropractors while traveling. The Chiropractors
mentioned that they could possibly help me regain some control and
that Australian care for spinal patients was so primitive that
there were 50% more para/quadraplegics than there needed to be.

Can anybody confirm the above statement?

If anybody has any more information as to how Chiropractors can
help a spinal injury or if they know where more information can be
