Index Number: 9299 I recently sent a message to Stu Turk regarding using the ANSI system kor key redefinitions. In it I referred to a program named ANSIKEY.PRG, and described how it was used and the beginning escape sequence needed by the ANSI system. Well, to make a long story short, the off-line reader I use (OMK0 will eliminate any graphic character in a message. It remove the beginning character from each line of the ANSIKEY.PRG list, making it seem to start with a "[". It doesn't, instead it's preceeded by a left arrow symbol (Decimal: 27, HEX: 1B). Also, in the paragraph following the listing it deleted a left arrow before the [. Sorry if this confused anyone or caused anyone any problems. By the way, the left arrow symbol can be inserted into many text processors by holding tha Alt Key down and pressing the 2 followed by the 7 keys one the numerical pad, then releasing the Alt key. Other text editors have the feature where non-ASCII characters can be entered directly in the text. The text editor I use (SLED.COM) has that feature and I highly recommend it for writing bacth file, etc. In fact, I'm using it to write this message within OMK. Clear as mud yet?
