Hi! just read your message to Bill Higgins concerning motorized
wheelchairs, and so forth.

a sport wheelchair is lighter and easier to place in a car. In our
area, those that use a manual wheelchair, use a two door car, and
place the wheelchair behind the front seat. Apparently, this is
easier to placing the wheelchair in the trunk of the car.
Motorized scooters are ideal for someone that need a motorized
wheelchair. The scooters separates in three parts and can be
placed in the trunk of the car. The best scooters are driven by
the rear wheels and have wide tires. there is a arm with a winch
that is available to lift the scooter anand place in the trunk of
the car. If you have insurance that pays for scooters, you should
look at that option. In our community, we have some peole with
scooters and motorized wheelchairs that drive on the sidewalks
during the summer and go shopping to their local stores. cheers,
Red
