Hi,
Recently, I developed an allergic reaction to skin glue I've been
using for many years to adhere an external catheter. Other
combinations of glue and catheters seem not to work also. If you
have any suggestions or ideas on skin adhesive glue or tape, skin
conditions or external catheters, I would very much appreciate
hearing them.
Thanks very much,
Scott

Have you tried the kind you roll on & place the elastic tape on the outside?
I know that this is a giant step backward in technology but it might work
for you.

Is it possible that the manufacturer reformulated the glue recently? You
might want to write to them asking if that's the case and if so, advising them
of the problem. If it was reformulated and enough people complain, they might
switch back.

ST> Just curious but aside from developing the allergy, have you recently

Good thought. How bout more acidity in the urine or a
bladder infection?

I have a similar problem with glue and had to give it up altogether,
I now use one side sticky tape that goes on the outside. It takes some
experimenting to find out just how tight is tight enough and what is
too tight but once you get it down it is reliable.
