Index Number: 9533 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] Hi Phil: Hope you don't mind my jumping into a thread which I have only read partially. I take it from Liz's reply to you that you are looking for stuff on Helen Keller. I suggest that you call the Migel Library at the American Foundation for the Blind in New York (main number is 212-620-2000). Ask for the library and talk with Peter Ellis or Leslie Rosen. They are both terrific people, and will be happy to help. The library is mostly print (unfortunately) but they do lend books via US mail and can send you some bibliographies of all sorts of stuff. All of Helen's original papers, etc are also at AFB I think. Ask Peter about sources of accessible materials. I think he will really try to accommodate you. Also call my friend Elizabeth Macelroy who is the reference librarian at Recording for the Blind in Princeton, NJ. Feel free to use my name for whatever that might be worth (probably not much). <grin> Hope this helps. Scott ...
