That's pretty good Walter. It figures they change the law when we had
a good thing going. I'm surprised that a blind person can even have a
car in his/her name. A few years ago some friends of mine were going
deer hunting here in Colorado and if I paid for the license, one of
them would have gotten me a deer. I called fish and game in Denver and
asked about the license and they absolutely refused to sell me the
license since I was blind. I said, of course, I wasn't going to do
the shooting, at least not at the deer, but he said no way. I had a
big and long arguement with this guy but I went no where with it. Now
before any of you animal lovers go to feeling poorly about those little
deer being killed for sport, keep in mind that most people in Colorado
do not hunt deer for the sport but for food. Deer stakes are as good
as beef and probably healthier since they are naturally fed. Anyhow,
don't worry too much, blind people can't buy a deer license in
Colorado.

Phil,
Well, this is OUTRAGEOUS! I happen to know blind people who are
much more responsible than many of the people walking around with
rifles, and who are probably better shots as well! Why, I bet a lot of
those hunters are drinking beer as they stalk their prey, and couldn't
tell a buck from a buckeroo by the time they get a shot off!
This is obviously not a safety issue, but a blatant act of
discrimination against us as an easily identifiable group! I say we
organize and demand equal access to hunting licenses! Not wanting us
out in the woods with equal opportunity to shoot each other is a
travesty!
... Defend your right to bear armed blinks!
