Index Number: 9603 a young girl with severe cerebral palsey, is using an apple 2e to do her homework. every keystroke she can save is a blessing. the problem is in doing her math problems. she has some math problem software that will let her do the problems and even grade them for her, but it does not have the capability of printing out her work. she needs her work on paper to hand it in at school. so she has been using a word processor. the problem though is it does not allow for right-to-left cursor movement. so when doing for example an addition problem, she has to backspace twice for each digit. and every keystroke is a lot of work for this girl. does anyone know of any software available that would help out? something where the cursor could move either direction based on one key input perhaps? but yet would allow hardcopy output? another possibly useful tool would be a VERY LARGE numeric keypad, each key perhaps 2 inches square. also can anyone give me a contact address or phone for the ACM SIG on computers for the handicapped? thanks MUCH for any suggestions or info you can supply. please e-mail your responses as i don't normally subscribe to this group. THANKS again.
