Index Number: 9719 Giovanni Moretti: You posted a notice in July asking if there was an appointment calendar with a command line interface that could be used with a speech synthesizer. The MKS Toolkit has a command line appointment calendar program. I think the program could run stand alone, ie, without all the MKS Toolkit operating system installed, but I'm not sure. The program user interface is similar to the UNIX*(R) PCS Calendar program. If you are interested and want more information, contact Mortice Kern Systems, Inc. 35 King Street North Waterloo, Ontario, Canada N2J 2W9 1-519-884-2251 uunet!watmath!mks!inquiry (Standard disclamer: I'm not associated with that company, nor even a current user of one of their products. I do have a co-worker who uses their Toolkit, which is how I found about the calendar program.) If you or your friend have any information on speech synthesis products, I'd be interested in hearing from you. I'm trying to find one that works well with AT&T's PC/PBX software, so a blind person could use that software.
