Index Number: 9526 I'm looking for something to serve as an off-road electric wheelchair that doesn't cost a fortune. Am I asking too much? It needs to be able to travel most hiking paths, and in order to be nice to the environment, should be electric (I guess). It doesn't need to be a wheel'chair' in the conventional sense of the word, but the smaller the better, I'd guess. Email or post, as you see fit. Thanks, gang... -- HUMAN: Ron McDowell, +1 512 346 0138 USMAIL: 9500 Jollyville Rd. #127, Austin, TX 78759 EMAIL: uunet!cs.utexas.edu!flattop!rcm or rcm@flattop.ProgCons.COM

Electric looks to me difficult. With a two- or fourstroke engine there are those trikes snd quads. I think that should serve your needs although not beeing nice to the environment. Maybe it is possible to rebuild a "normal" quad to an electric. (take an electric wheelchair and a quad and build one changing the engines) Bye, Ruud -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!2!500!4!Ruud.Van.der.linden Internet: Ruud.Van.der.linden@f4.n500.z2.fidonet.org
