Index Number: 9879 Hi, Vixen: You have all the scoop about doggie school down well, and I am sure you will really enjoy it. Since you will be there in the class which starts in mid September, you will have a special treat. While all of the trainers are great, you will get to work with Mike Del Ross. Mike was the trainer with whom both my wife and I worked. He is a marvellous teacher, he radiates love for his dogs, he encourages his students in a truly thoughtful and supportive way, and his manner is quietly reassuring all the time. Brad Hibberd should be working with Mike, along with another trainer and a super supervisor named Peter O Riley. It is true!----graduation day, and the chance to meet the 4-H person who raised your puppy is something else! We pondered a lot about what sort of gift to give our puppy raisers, we being my wife and I, who were at the school together as husband and wife, believe it or not. The long and the short of that pondering was that the best gift came from and perhaps not to my puppy walker. Not only did she present me a tremendous puppy, but she also gave me a photo album of my puppy's entire life up to the time she came back to the school from puppy raising to be trained. I would really like to stop in and say "hi" while you are at the school. My wife and I will be in California and will be visiting the school just before your class starts.
