Index Number: 10033 My younger sister is suffering from Curran Sayer Syndrome. She has out lived all previous cases of this disease and now that they have a permanent IV and feeding tube in her, she could be hospitalized for quit a while.(the rest of her life) The sad part is my sister is very much aware of her situation despite having diabetes, being blind and slowly losing control of her muscular actions, she realizes the imprisonment and holds on to an admirable attitude. Question is, does anyone know of a foundation that would help my sister with medical bills? I am unaware of what this is costing but I know it must be enormous. I'm sure my mom, who is caring for her day by day, due to the constant care she needs and the fact that a normal hospital would never attend to her in a timely enough fashion, is worried about this but would never let on.
