Index Number: 10077 [This is from the Silent Talk Conference] Here's how a loop (either the little one on an ALD or the big one on a PA system) works: The loop is a coil of wire which carries an audio-frequency signal. The signal produces a varying magnetic field, which gets picked up by the (smaller) coil in a hearing aid.
