Index Number: 10128 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] Recently, I modified my program that's similar to TSI's 2D reader so that it will automatically move the display to the next window of Braille text. Using this feature makes it unnecessary to press the "right" key all of the time when you're reading. I love the new feature. I'm not sure how I'm going to market this new fea- ture. The program will be part of new releases of the Communi- cations package. No doubt, some will want just the reader and not the communications stuff. The most interesting thing I've learned from all this is that you need to be able to manually move forward and "override" the automatic scrolling so that you can set the scrolling so you always have time to read the display before it changes. Sometimes you can finish reading long before the display is going to change. This is when it's necessary to press the advance key. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!115!778!Glen.Nielson Internet: Glen.Nielson@f778.n115.z1.fidonet.org
