Index Number: 9856 No doubt this topic has been covered exhaustively in this newsgroup, but I am a recent subscriber, so please bear with me. My spouse's grandfather suffered from some degenerative eye disease; by the time his doctor stopped it, grandpa was left with 1% of his vision in one eye, and 5% in the other. As a result, he is unable to read print without the aid of a magnifying glass. Undoubtedly there exists some technology designed to display enlarged print matter for the visually impaired. I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions about such technology. Thanks for your help. However, if possible i would suggest braille if he is loosing that much of hisvision. Braille is much less stressful than trying to read large print for someone who is a partial. 73 -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!300!7!Darrell.Shandrow Internet: Darrell.Shandrow@f7.n300.z1.fidonet.org
