Index Number: 10437 Last Spring I asked for information about American International Hospital. At the time, our information was from a 1988 text on the hospital and its work. It mentioned organicly grown foods, that it accepted medicare, and so on. We were very excited about this and other aspects of the program. We made the mistake, however, of believing the 1988 information. We had talked a family member into going, called the hospital to make arrangements and were told bluntly and unfeeling that she was "too old--we don't take medicare anymore." Also, previous letters to the Am. Intl. Hospital about accommodations for family members in the surrounding area went unanswered. Just thought some people on the HCAP-bulletin might be interested in this information. "Life is a glucopricon." SECregier CREGIER@UPEI.CA
