Index Number: 10483 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] Hi Vixen, No, I have not attended the school in San Rafeal. I have had to face uncertaintity and fear. I am sure that all of us sooner or later will encounter some type of wall that were just not too sure about. Look at the worst possible thing that could happen to you, I don't know the extent of your respiratory problems, I would hope that your attending school would not place you in a life threatening situation. But, what if it did? Is getting a dog guide worth the risk? Only you know the answer to that. But, if that the worse thing that could happen is thatyou spin your wheels for a couple of weeks and then go home without a pup, well that stinks, but, it is not that the end of the world. You, at this point, have absolutely no control over what is going to happen as far as your respiratory problems are concerned. We have only a finite amount of energy to expend while on this earth, don't waste it worrying on things you have absolutely no control over. What ever happens, happens. Whether you believe in a Devine plan or that things just happen on their own accord is strictly between you and your religious beliefs. So just take each new event as it comes and accept it for it is worth. I know that talk is cheap, but I feel like I know what I'm talking about. I havn't got respiratory problems, but like many of us out there in blink lind being a blink is the least of my physical problems (Psychological problems can be discussed at a later date). Vixen, go on out there and blow them away, show them your stuff and have a great time. I know it can be worrysome but you can control that by thinking of the great times you are going to have ahead of you. If getting the dog doensn't come to fruition, oh well, that's tuff, but you will be still out there plugging away. We all have faith in you, not a thing to worry about Keeping the faith, Henry -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!130!10!Henry.Kasten Internet: Henry.Kasten@f10.n130.z1.fidonet.org
