Hi greg,
so you couldn't take off of work if you needed to go to a dog guide
school? that's a shame. I guess this was a directive from your boss? I
would hope that you are not assuming you could not take off and really
know that this would be prohibited. Pity, seems like they would be more
understanding, on the other hand at least you are working.
As for this rumor that has been floating around about the seeing eye not
making trips out to help their graduates is hog wash. I can speak first
first hand because Peter Jackson had to make a special trip to Hurst
(just down the road apiece from me) to help an elderly woman with a
problem she was having, while in the area he contacted several graduates
just to see how they were doing. When i was at school in New Jersey they
assured me that if they could not remedy any problem i had over the
phone, they would come out here as soon as possible. They also have an
individual who travels all over the country (can't remember his name) he
too can help when need. So let's call a spade a spade and stop this
nonsence avout things schools do and do when it's just a matter of third
party hearsay and not based on a thread of truth.
nuff said,
Henry
