Hello everyone,
I am new to this echo, and I was wondering if any of you had any
idea of what someone such as I could do for a little income. I
have had a congenital heart defect all my life (I guess that goes
without saying) and it has gotten a lot worse in the last couple of
years (3 open hearts in 1988, and 7 months out of 12 in the
hospital). I can't work any more, or at least not a regular 8hr
job like I used to. Texas Rehab. has set me up with a nice
computer and I have started working with some people that are
starting a company - I will be providing them with a bulletin board
(initially for inter-company use) and for that I will be receiving
a percentage of the company until they start getting some working
capital, etc.
My problem is that SSD doesn't do me justice and I need some extra
income (or at least it would be nice to be able to eat AND get my
medicines). If there is anyone out there with any ideas, please let
me know. I would be interested in anything to make a little extra
cash. It would be especially gratifying if I could in some way
help others in a meaningful way at the same time.
