Hey guys guess what. I got a gadget that will turn on my radio, tv,
lights, even use the telephone and all I gota do to make it work is talk.
It's voice activated. It even talks back! You guys may allready know
about these machines but its completly new to me. I feel very excited
about it. This is the first time in 24 years that I've been able to turn
things on or off, up or down, whenever I wanted too. (it's a power
rush) It makes being alone alot easier.
Later
Jack

Sure thing John. The machine is a Quartet, and it works great. They cost
about $3.800. I got mine through the Texas Rehab folks. It's easy to
operate because all you need is a voice. First I say my machines name,
which wakes him up and he says YES, then I say light or television or
whatever and he does what I ask him to do. If he doesn't understand me he
says, "Excuse me" then I tell him again. IF I need help I simply say,
help me, and he tells me what my options are. It's neat!
