Index Number: 10620 [This is from the Silent Talk Conference] Hi Mike, Well, as for your proposal, I think it is great, but are you giving the stuff away or are you starting low interest loans, or wonder of wonders are you starting a cooperative effort whereby some would pay in the money while others got the equipment, got jobs and paid in money which helped the people who needed computers, who got equipment who got jobs who sent in money....... I have a deaf-blind friend whose only means of communication is face to face and via TDD. She needs a computer!!! She needs to communicate with a wider world. She doesn't have a job because her health doesn't permit it. But, does this mean that she shouldn't acquire equipment if she needs it? See you on-line. Ann P. P.S. And yes, I could stand some more equipment here, but I will not burden the issue. And there now telling me I can't it takes up space that I don't own. So now it looks like I will soon be saying goodbye to all you wonderful people. If anyone has any suggestions I would be appreciative. I don't know the first thing about trying to set up anything in my home to keep up with you people. It would be oh so nice to be able to do that. I love you all very much! Gary the wizard (of what I don't know)>--
