[Note from Bill McGarry: By tommorrow (the second), I should have
this program available from my BBS or I can email an uuencoded
version to anyone who would like it.]

The latest version of Tinytalk is now available for download or
FREQ from 115/778 under the name TTALK020.ZIP (if you choose to
download (available to first-time callers) it's in the net files
area (#6) rather than the adaptive software area). Many new
features have been added and some bugs have been cleared up. Right
now the Echo is still the only synthesizer supported. I hope in
the next few weeks to be able to come up with an Artic version.
Anybody who has another synthesizer and can supply me with
interface and control-code information will get (eventually) a
version to test.

For newcomers, Tinytalk is yet another speech program which has a
number of experimental features for doing things like reading
pop-up windows, filling in forms, etc. It also takes up only 15K.
It's an experimental program, which means that I'm asking those who
test it to tell me what features they'd like to see in it and what
they think is unnecessary.

TTALK020.ZIP is around 40K and includes a fairly complete manual.
The organization of the manual is another thing I'd like feedback
about.

Tinytalk is a speech program for people with a tiny amount of
memory left in their computer after they load all the applications
they want to use. It takes up only 15K. Right now it supports
only the external Echo synthesizers.
