Gary,

I think you're in danger of commiting an oxymoron. There is no such
thing as "idiot proofing". For every idiot proofing invention, it
takes less than half as much time to invent a better idiot. Then
we're right back where we started from.

As humans, we all can benefit from all the assistive technology we
can get. Us TABs need yellow lines on the highway, just the same as
a blind person needs the textured safety strip on the subway
platform. I'm all in favor of any new safety device; but I have to
admit, it's being forced by "noble-minded" laws to use them that
bugs me.

The man on the Blink-Talk list hit it right on the head when he
referred to "the one on the dumb end" of the harness.
