The big difference between jaws with Word Perfect and Artic,
Dave, is the ability of Jaws to do frame monitoring, that is
watching the status line for changes and then announcing those
changes to you automatically. Also when using the spell
checker, if you are using the WPJ50.jcf or WPJ50C.jcf by
pressing the CTRL UP Arrow it will give you the misspelled word
and by pressing the CTRL Down Arrow you can hear the choices.
I'll bet you are a great speller but I'm not. Vocal Eyes is
equally easy to use with Word Perfect using different key
strokes. Henry Kastin was able to give me information that
makes Artic work much more easily with Word Perfect, but Artic
still requires a lot more key strokes then either Vocal Eyes or
Jaws to make things work right. On the negative side of jaws I
find that it runs quite slowly compared to Artic or Vocaleyes.
That just may be that I have to use a Votalker with it. Grant
