Index Number: 11139 I just saw a demo of an IBM product thatlet s the deaf talk to hearies via a program called CommPhone. You use a modem with the software and it will: Send or receive calls from a phone and tell you by flashing the screen or a lamp that the phone is ringing. A hearie's spoken words are coverted to print on your screen (or they type on the phone dial, I think I saw it both ways). Your typed message is coverted to spoken words for the hearie. I am to recieve a loaned copy fof the program to see if I like it. If yes, i will buy it. Nice IBM people. :-] -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!300!14!James.Womack Internet: James.Womack@f14.n300.z1.fidonet.org
